Final Charge Notification without Evidence

Went to a UPS store to have my package measured and weighed for accuracy prior to placing my order. Used those figures and rounded up in weight to place my order. Paid for my order online, shipped it and forgot about it. A month later I receive an email for "Final Charge Notification" where a generic invoice appears adding an arbitrary 18% additional charge for "shortage measurement or weight". No indication which measurement was short or by how much or any proof from the carrier. Parcel Monkey encourages you to engage in a goose chase for them to review but also the email states the carrier is only wrong .7% of the time with this matter. See what happened there? The resolution is given to you before you start to dispute. If a package was 18% undervalued, it would have been caught at point of drop off as they measure and weigh prior to accepting shipment. I shouldn't have to fight the overage from behind. Sending an invoice without proof or details is cause enough for Parcel Monkey.
