A very bad event.

In the past months I was very happy with Parcel Monkey.
However, in this latest shipment, things went badly.
I was contacted about a box which have gotten damaged. Since I was in the process of moving overseas I opted to have Parcel Monkey continue on with the shipping..
Yesterday I received the 3 boxes. One box was in a big bag. Again, no problem since they notified me on the damage.
However, the other 2 boxes were crushed, not just a corner but one was completely smash on one half and had water damage. The third was crushed as it had had a very heavy box placed on it.
Two thirds of the contents were shattered. On wine glass and a few plates survived.
I didnot use a wooden crate but I thought the personnel knew how to handle freight.
I did expect to have some damage, it was glass, but for all the 3 boxes to be crushed, that was unacceptable especially the water damage.
In previous shipments everything went well.
Now I am worried as I have several more boxes on the way.Agent replied on 11/08/2022
Regret for the inconvenience. Please to inform you that that when you dispatch glass and Plates please use wooden crate also past label as handle with care, so our warehouse team and also Airlines will understand that.
We will check for the refund and keep you updated. -
